Hi - I work with a guy who produces a magazine on InDesign. He hates it!
he's a Pagemaker user, but for various reasons now has to use InDesign.
He's currently annoyed with an aspect of the programme I can't explain.
He used to use Arial Black, and then apply Bold. This doesn't work.
InDesign only seems to work with built-in fonts and their styles - and
there's no variation (bold, italic and so on) as there is with any font,
and Ctrl-B doesn't work.
Can anyone please explain why it appears to work this way, and if
there's any way round it?
Thanks!
