I am trying to control a device connected to my PC through usb serial port. I have tried packet output and stream input blocks in realtime windows target but it was not successful. The stream input block outputs zero value every other step. In other words, In one step the stream input block gives the value sent from the device, in the next step it outputs a zero value. However, the data ready port is always on. When i use matlab scripts with fwrite and fscanf functions, there is no zero values in successive responses from the device.
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me with this.
