Hi all,
With the latest XE7 featuring Firedac and IBLite on all platforms, I
thought it may be a good time to say farewell to Firebird+FIBPlus for my
new apps.
But, I am having a really hard time to get everything working, mainly
because IBLite allows 1 connection and this you cannot debug..
So question is:
Can I edit / design my app using XE7, and then distribute only the db
file with IBLite?
I am testing this, and when I run the app, it says it cannot connect to
the password database. All I know is that IBLite does not use this, so
why does it ask? Was it enforced by Interbase XE7?
Thanks,
Johann

Re: IBLite, IBTogo and IB XE7, can you use XE7 to design and
I recommend start with the IBLite Mobile snipit. To run it, all that is
required is that add your reg_iblite.txt activation file to your
ibredistdir folder - which you probably already have done.

No, IBLite will use an admin database unless you enable EUA in your database.
You have to turn on EUA so the users and passwords are in the database itself.
