Hallo,
I have two PC with Win 7 (64bit) Home on a LAN. One of PC (that functions as server) has a shared directory that contain a Paradox Database.
My application use BDE for accessing the Paradox Database.

My application has worked fine every days in last 8 months but, few days ago, on the PC client was damaged the onboard LAN adapter that was disabled by BIOS and replaced with a new one connected to the PCIe adapter on MainBoard.

After this repair (replacement) my application works very slow to accessing the Paradox Database and I must set the application to work as "Windows XP mode" compatibility for regain finest perfomance but in this mode disappears all shared drive and my application can't be able to work in concurrent mode from the two PC.

The installation of BDE is right and compliant with Win 7 (64bit). Before, it worked fine for 8 month every days.

What I can do?

I found the problem :)

I had a trouble in Lan card settings: If the Lan card is set on 10Mbits it works well otherwise if is set on 100Mbits it works wrong.

Probably it is reverse, i.e. 10MBits reallly is a 100MBits and viceversa.
