Strange problem
News Group: borland.public.delphi.ide.general

hello all,

D2007 W32.

When you open project options, under the "Compiler" item there is a combo box named "Build configuration" that usually
has only two items:

Release
Debug

Suddenly I have a third item with the same name of the first, that's to say I have two "Release" and one "Debug" and as
soon as I try to select the third I get a "List index out of bounds" error. I can't figure out how it is entered in the
list. The problem happens with every project.

I have searched everywhere, in the registry, in the configuration files, but I haven't found where this setting is
stored. I have even tried to save another setting with an easily recognizable name. Saving succeeded but I can't find it
anywhere. I even thought that it could be in the .dproj file, deleted it to rebuild the file, but no luck.

Where is this setting located?

Thanks

Alas, no. None of the three items (two Release and one Debug) can be deleted. The button is always disabled :-(

If I could only know where it is saved...

Thanks anyway.

If you create a new VCL Forms project and select either one of the duplicate
Release options does the Delete button [to the right] become enabled? If so
you could delete that one, check the Default checkbox down in the bottom left
of the dialogue and click save. Shot in the dark ...

hi Denny,

I have given a look to the "Compiling" key (also present in D2007) but there are no settings of this kind...

Regards
