Hello All,
I've followed the links from the Indy site, downloaded the latest Indy10
snapshot ZIP file, and extracted all of the files. Can anyone point me to
instructions for what to do next? I've read through all of the posts in this
group, and while I have found some questions on this topic, I haven't found
anything close to a step-by-step guide. Is there some reason this can't
happen?
Thanks in advance.
Joe
Okay. Thanks. Are there any C++ example programs anywhere?

No. All I can say is to uninstall the old packages from the IDE, then
physically remove the files from the machine, then you can compile and
install the new packages.

Yes, there have been. The current snapshot is what is available for the
public to use right now.

For a variety of reasons, I bit the bullet and moved up to RAD2007, so now I
have the Delphi personality and I have also moved up to Indy10. Do you have
a reference to instructions for updating Indy10 to the latest version? I
know you are working on a new version, but I gather there have also been
lots of changes since the version that comes with RAD2007?

Then you have to use the command-line dcc32.exe compiler instead.

There are no arguments for the .BAT scripts. Just run them as-is.

Hi Remy,
I do not have the Delphi personality installed. I found a "third-party"
Fullc10.bat file in one of the posts, but no instructions on running it,
i.e. no description of the arguments. Are there instructions somewhere on
running these batch files that describe the arguments? If I can get through
this, I will create a document that describes how to do it. Thanks very
much. I know you put tons of work into this.

There aren't any.

There are no .BAT scripts available for BDS 2006, so installation steps
depend on whether you have the Delphi personality installed in the IDE or
not. If you do, then you can compile and install the Indy*100.dpk and
dclIndy*100.dpk packages directly in the IDE. Otherwise, you will have to
use the command-line dcc32.exe compiler instead, and then install the
compiled package binaries afterwards.
