We are glad to announce Localizer 3.50 release.

Localizer is a localization/globalization tool kit for applications written in
Borland Delphi or C++Builder . Using it you can get one executable file that
supports as many languages as you want.
Localizer can process all string resources in your project: properties of
components on forms, resource string constants, VCL messages and messages from
third-party packages. You can also change size and position of the controls in
different languages.

Support fo additional language(s) can be added without recompilation of the
project even by your end users.

Localizer can use standard resource DLLs to store translated resources (like
Borland's ITE) as well as special "language files" format which is more
comfortable in most cases.

Localizer home page: http://devtools.korzh.com/localizer/
Trial version is available for download at
http://devtools.korzh.com/downloads/locsetup.exe
Suported IDE versions are: Delphi 3-7, Delphi 2005, C++Builder 4-6

Localizer will support Delphi 2006 as well when it is released.

With the best regards, Localizer team.

Billy,

Give me a correct e-mail (send it to locsupport at korzh.com) and I'll send
you a simple IntraWeb project localized with Localizer. Then we can discuss
what do you need to do in your current project.

Sure it is possible. Write to locsupport@korzh.com what exactly components
are the problem ones for you.

It's a nice header, though :).

Hi,

this links does not (really) work. After a bout half a second it redirects
to another page that only shows a good looking header and nothing else...

Ciao

I don't use QuantumGrid, but I do use a lot of other third-party VCL
extensions and had the same localization problems with almost all
them. The solutions is to determine which properties you would like to
be localized and make sure you add them to the Property Rules listbox
in your project options. Look at the help for more information:

Language wizard|Project Settings Dialog|Processing Rules page

Hope this helps,

So what's new in version 3.50?

Hello,

Doesn't it support TNT controls?
How is it compared to Tsilang?

Thanks

Does it work with IntraWeb? I need multilingual support for Intraweb
application so that it allows me to
1) generate resources
2) Save the resources as a different language and change all texts outside
of IDE for that language.

The language wizard can easily be configured to include/exclude a
specific property of any control. Just add those properties you're
interested in into Property Rules listbox (see the Localizer | Project
options) and that's all.

> How is it compared to Tsilang?

I didn't tested TsiLang extensively during evaluation, but for me, the
main reason why I chosen Localizer is the fact that it integrates into
your (existing) project in a seamless way - you don't have to add any
components onto the forms or even edit source code (unlike with the
TsiLang - but things may have changed since I did the evaluation).
Only if you want to override the default behaviour, such as loading a
specific language file at your program's startup or specify a
different location of your language files, then adding a couple of
lines to your project file makes the trick.

I'd highly recommend it. I'm in no way associated with the vendor, I'm
just a satisfied customer. Great tool, fast and valuable support!
